NUKE.

COLOUR DIFFERENCE MAPPING

So today we looked at different ways of keying out greenscreen from live footage. The following images are screenshots of the process. Although the final image looks good, if you zoom in there's alot of colour overspill. Something that can be rectified with roto and masks. But it's a start into a new technique so I'm pretty happy with what I've learnt so far. Aye.

Nuke.

BEGININGS OF COMPOSITING

First crack at basic compositing. In this scene I looked at the following nodes: Multiply (Opacity), Exposure, Shuffle, Transform, Reformat, Blur and how to actually export an image sequence correctly. Sounds easy. But it took me four hours to learn all this! Ha!

LUMA KEYING

Sky replacement in Nuke via the luma key. I should have got better photos but here's the start and finish complete with key hierachy.
