Post Production Continued.

So I've been doing abit of filming recently for the post-pro brief. I've only done a few rough shots so I can get practicing some ideas for compositing. The idea is that once I've figured out some more tools in Nuke and how long certain things take to composite, I'll go back and re-film with better angles and a greater understanding of whats required for the shots I want/ need.

Even though we only need to compostite 20secs of film, I've managed to get close to 6 minutes of footage (it was 18 minutes...I went abit record crazy) But I guess it's more for me to play about with.

The idea is to cut out the skateboard, so it looks like someones floating around on air. So keep that in mind when watching. Excuse the sound. I didn't see the point in muting it or adding a pretty little backing track if it's only for reference.

Post Production Ideas

So we've been given our brief for post and it's looking pretty cool. We have to produce a short (max 20 secs) piece of composite footage concentrating on technical skill. We must incorporate live footage (filmed ourself), other footage (live action or computer generated) and elements of greenscreen.

Over the summer I've been getting into skateboarding and have been involved in a few amateur videos of friends and me. And I've decided to really push this idea forward and actually make something worth showing.

So. Here's a few videos I've found that I consider quite inspirational to this project.
