DC Fashion Shoot.

Before Easter I had the opportunity to work alongside the fashion photography students from UCF. We teamed up with DC shoes to produce a short fashion film for their new Fall 2012 collection.

We spent a freezing 10 hours on Godrevy Beach capturing twelve key looks from their collections. The shoot was a great experience and a wonderful opportunity to test out cameras and their shooting capabilities as well as learn from other students and lecturers. It was also a valuable lesson, specifically in terms of the pre-production side of film making. So much effort and planning went into the shoot weeks before to enable shots and glitches to ironed out. The equipment itself filled two cars!!

But all in all is was fantastic. Filming is definitely something I want to get more involved in.

I’ll post up a few photos that were taken “behind the scenes” by various students and the final film once it’s been edited by Insa Burch and Kirsty Smith (Director and Producer).
