We've been given a brief to create a 40 second character animation in Flash. We are to source, record and edit a piece of sound to go around the theme "My life in Falmouth". I'm pretty excited for this project, and I've got a few ideas jotted down already. I have however slightly changed the "my life" to "a life" and used a friends experience in Falmouth as inspiration for what my work will be.
Today I recorded my sound piece and edited it in Soundbooth, I managed to get two people to read my characters lines as I'm not sure how I want the character to sound. I also played about with overlapping the two voice overs for the craic to see if anything interesting happend but sadly not. However I did learn some rather geeky effects.
