Flash; Done & Dusted

So here’s my final flash animation and some of the work that went into it. It’s been a very long and tiring process but I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I used this topic as a way of teaching myself not only aspects of flash, but also photoshop and after effects! Which at the time everyone seemed to know a lot about! But I think I’ve managed to catch up a wee bit. So here’s some of the work I’ve been doing….

Oh and before I forget...the biggest thing I learned from the whole experience. The tiny, tiny, TINY details I put into the entire design...when put into flash, scaled up in down, changed to "hundreds" of colours/shades, edited in after effects and finally added a light to...are no longer visable...and were thus a pointless waste of my time, energy and sleep! So a new note to myself.

"Don't sweat the small things...because flash and after effects won't either"

POST-PRODUCTION

After finishing the animation side of things, I realised it wasn’t as polished as I’d like it to be. So I put it into After Effects and played about with a wee bit of lighting, vignette and fades. I’d also like to thank those people (you know who you are) for putting up with my various questions and the ever favoursome “yeah I want it to look like this…so how do I do it? hmm…tell me again?” Cheers dears.  Aye.
